Final synopsis

Our final synopsis is a disaster one. We aim to film scenes of a family playing nicely together and then scenes of them fleeing their house dropping possessions as they go. These shots aim to show that something bad is occurring hence the hasty leave and to also establish the family. We will also film shots of the wind in trees and mysterious fog. These scenes will all be mixed together. Within these scenes there will also be scenes of a mysterious women who seems to be cooking for a number of guests. Her mannerisms are very odd and very OCD like. These scenes will appear at the beginning and at the end of the trailer. There will also be scenes of desertion for e.g. a car left in the middle of the road with its doors open. This will all appear within our trailer.

The synopsis itself is that the family and the strange women cooking are very much in fact connected. The family experience this natural disaster however the other women is cooking up a dinner for several people very calmly, almost as if she is unaware of the disaster or slightly insane due to the disaster. At the end of the trailer we see that the women sits down to a table with multiple dinners laid but is however eating alone. On the side there shall be a photograph of the children who we see playing a game with her mother at the beginning of the trailer. This allows us to make the connection that the family at the beginning are in fact her family and are in fact in some form of trouble if not dead. To make it clear that the disaster had already occurred whilst the women is cooking we will have a radio broadcast playing in the background describing the details of what has happened. The shots of the family fleeing the house and playing games will be shown in black and white to highlight that this occasion is in the past tense.
